According to Temel Kotil, CEO of Turkish Aerospace Industries, it is planned to create an ATAK-II heavy attack helicopter for use on the Anadolu deck. Similar to the basic version of the ATAK-II, its deck counterpart will also receive Ukrainian engines.

The promising Turkish development has not yet received an official name and is referred to as a "heavy class combat helicopter" (Ağır Sınıf Taarruz Helikopter).
