TSAMTO, January 28. The crew of the MRK Cyclone project 22800 Karakurt, built for the Black Sea Fleet at the B.E.Butoma Shipyard in Kerch, has started the marine part of the state tests in the Black Sea.
During the event, representatives of the factory delivery team, together with the crew and members of the state admissions committee, conduct maneuverable and high-speed tests of the ship, check the operation of all units, systems and assemblies, weapons, navigation and radio equipment.
The state tests of the MRK "Cyclone" will be carried out within a month. Upon completion of the marine part of the state testing program, their second part will begin - the revision of the ship. Control maintenance, inspection of mechanisms and devices will be carried out, specialists and members of the state commission will assess the general condition of the ship, its equipment and all technical means available on it.
Further, spare parts kits will be handed over to the regular crew of the ship from the manufacturer and the final technical and paint works will be carried out.
Earlier, during the tests, the crew of the Cyclone successfully tested artillery complexes with firing at maximum angles of rotation and ascent on simulators of sea, coastal and air targets. The ship's life support systems, energy and survivability, ventilation and air conditioning, indicators of speed, maneuverability and stability of the ship were also tested.

The MRK "Cyclone" of the Karakurt project is armed with a universal complex with Kalibr missiles, an AK-176MA artillery installation, an anti-aircraft missile system "Pantsir-M", large-caliber machine gun installations.
