The plant for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which Kronstadt JSC opened in Dubna, will be able to produce deck-based unmanned aerial vehicles and helicopter-type vehicles. This was stated on Thursday by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during a visit to the new workshop of the Kronstadt company.
"Then we have the next step - helicopter drones, deck drones. Next comes the development of weapons for drones," Shoigu said, commenting on the report of the company's CEO Sergey Bogatikov.
Denis Manturov, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Andrey Vorobyov, the Governor of the Moscow Region, also got acquainted with the new production.
