A photo of an F-35 fighter jet appeared on the Web in the first seconds after it fell from the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson. An airplane with an empty cabin is on the surface of the water, surrounded by foam formed during the fall. In another moment, the plane will sink.
Recall that on Tuesday, a plane from the wing of the nuclear aircraft carrier Carl Vinson hit the deck during landing and fell into the sea. The pilot ejected and was pulled out of the water by a rescue helicopter. The pilot and six sailors of the deck crew needed medical assistance. Three soldiers were taken to a hospital in the Philippines, four are being treated on the ship.
The US Navy intends to get the sunken fighter jet as soon as possible, since its technologies and secret equipment are of great interest to Russia and China, and Beijing considers the South China Sea, where the accident occurred, to be a zone of its territorial interests.
