Vladivostok. January 27. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - Combat swimmers of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) in Primorye conducted an exercise on the defense of a ship-based point from underwater saboteurs.
"According to the plan of the exercise, the crew of a multi-purpose anti-sabotage boat of the Grachonok type with the help of the Kalmar search and rescue complex found an unidentified group of divers underwater," the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported on Thursday.
To search for and eliminate conditional saboteurs, combat swimmers in special equipment went under water from the boat.
After the discovery, the "saboteurs" were conditionally destroyed with the use of underwater small arms, after which combat swimmers surveyed the area to search for installed mine-explosive devices.
