Vladivostok. January 27. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - Pilots of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) during scheduled flights on Tu-142 aircraft over the Sea of Okhotsk performed tasks to search for a submarine of a conditional enemy, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported on Thursday.
"Scheduled training flights were conducted at the Kamenny Ruchey airfield of the Naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet in order to coordinate young crews of long-range anti-submarine Tu-142 aircraft with the development of anti-submarine tasks over the Sea of Okhotsk," the report says.
During the flights, the crews of two Tu-142 anti-submarine aircraft conducted searches using special standard means of detecting submarines of a conditional enemy during the exploration of the water area.
