Moscow. January 26. INTERFAX - Two crews of Ka-29 transport and combat helicopters at the Radygino training ground worked out the tasks of fire support for marine units, the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO) reported on Wednesday.
"In Kamchatka, the crews of Ka-29 helicopters of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet worked out the tasks of fire support for marine units. Two crews of transport and combat helicopters conducted flights along a given route, solved tactical tasks and the use of weapons against ground targets. The targeting of helicopters was carried out by aircraft manufacturers and signals of special smoke indicators on the tactical field," the report says.
They noted that the use of helicopters to support ground units of the Marine Corps has shown high efficiency in increasing tactical superiority over a conventional enemy.
