Sailors from Russia and China held joint exercises

On Tuesday, a whole series of exercises started, in which Russian servicemen are involved. Moreover, the maneuvers took place even abroad. Thus, the Russian-Chinese exercise "Peaceful Sea-2022" took place in the western part of the Arabian Sea.

From our country, a detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) took part in it as part of the Varyag missile cruiser, the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributs and the large sea tanker Boris Butoma. The Chinese naval forces were represented by the Urumqi missile destroyer and the Taihu integrated supply ship.

"During the exercise, Russian and Chinese ships jointly carried out tactical maneuvering and organization of inspection actions of a conditionally captured cargo vessel, as which the tanker Boris Butoma was used. Also, the sailors of the two countries worked out the release of the conditionally seized vessel," the Russian military department said.

In addition, the sailors trained the transportation of the wounded. The immobilized fighter on the Ka-27PS deck helicopter of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet was transported from the Admiral Tributs ship to the Urumqi destroyer. Our sailors went on a long trip from Vladivostok in December 2021. Ships of the Russian Navy have already taken part in the Russian-Indian exercises PASSEX and the Russian-Iranian-Chinese exercise CHIRU-2022.

In addition, on Tuesday, troops in the south of the country were raised on a training alert. In total, more than 6 thousand servicemen take part in the combat readiness check of the Southern Military District. They will have to conduct live firing. Combined arms associations, Air Force and air defense armies, ship groups of the Black Sea Fleet and the Caspian Flotilla are involved.

Finally, autonomous launchers of the Yars mobile missile system entered the combat patrol routes in the Ivanovo region yesterday.

Strategic rocket scientists practiced making marches up to 100 kilometers long, organizing camouflage and combat protection. In parallel, measures were carried out to detect, block and destroy conditional saboteurs, including using new Typhoon-M combat anti-sabotage vehicles equipped with drones.
