TSAMTO, January 24. Specialists of the marine engineering service of the Pacific Fleet received a large batch of modern means of mine clearance.
Among them are a portable finder of wired control lines for explosive devices, a selective portable induction mine detector IMP-S2, as well as a non-linear locator of the "Kite" type.
The PEOPLE finder is designed for searching, detecting and clarifying the coordinates of detected routes, laying wired control lines for explosive devices.
The IMP-C2 mine detector is designed to detect antipersonnel and anti-tank mines installed on the ground surface, in the ground (snow, water), under road coverings and on objects with shells, fuses and parts made of metal.
Proximity Explosive Device Finder (INVU) The "Kite" allows detecting explosive devices at a range of up to 30 m - in the ground and snow, in various structures and behind obstacles (concrete and brick walls), barbed wire fences and metal mesh, under asphalt and concrete road surfaces.
Marine engineers will begin to master new devices in the winter training period, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
