TSAMTO, January 24. In 2022, a separate engineering brigade of the Central Military District stationed in Bashkiria will receive the latest engineering systems for remote mining (ISDM) "Agriculture", said the head of the engineering troops of the Central Military District, Colonel Andrei Gandzyuk.
"By the end of this year, we plan to receive a unique remote mining system "Agriculture" for the first time for the engineering troops of the district," A. Gandzyuk said.
The installation of minefields with the help of ISDM "Agriculture" has a number of advantages. "In particular, the speed of setting minefields has been increased, especially in hard-to-reach areas. And the ability of mines to deactivate or self-destruct at a given time ensures safe and rapid clearance after the cessation of hostilities," A. Gandzyuk said.
The engineering system includes a combat vehicle on the chassis of a KAMAZ vehicle, a transport-loading vehicle and transport-launching containers with engineering ammunition loaded with mines of various types, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
