TSAMTO, January 24. In 2022, the engineering units of the Guards Tank Army of the Far East will receive the latest means of engineering support. The servicemen will receive a mobile engineering mine clearance complex MICR and a mobile engineering power plant ED30-AI.
The MICR is designed for conducting reconnaissance of the terrain, industrial and residential premises, facilities and transport, for detecting and locating explosive objects, as well as for neutralizing and eliminating detected objects.
The mobile engineering power plant ED30-AI is designed for mechanization of engineering works in the development of hard and frozen soils, rocks, ice, harvesting of wooden structures, as well as for carrying out work on dismantling rubble when equipping troop routes.
In 2021, the engineering units of the tank army of the Western Military District received about 10 units of engineering weapons, the press service of the Western Military District reports.
