Vladivostok. January 24. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - Helicopter crews of naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) in Kamchatka conducted flights as part of groups, working out the rescue of people at sea and a number of other tasks, the press service of the fleet reported on Monday.
The training was conducted to improve flight training and evaluate the effectiveness of the actions of naval aviation crews when performing tasks for their intended purpose.
"The crews of the ship's Ka-27 helicopters in anti-submarine and search-and-rescue variants have worked out the coherence of actions as part of pairs in various weather conditions," the report says.
Helicopter pilots also conducted training on the ground and at sea to rescue people in distress, practically interacted with the flight control group of the aviation unit when pointing helicopters at objects in distress at sea.
In addition, the helicopter crews worked out the tasks of transporting oversized cargo weighing up to 3 tons on an external suspension to deliver them to ships and vessels of the fleet.
