A picture of a British F-35B fighter jet, which was lifted from the bottom of the sea, has been published
The first pictures of the British fifth-generation carrier-based fighter F-35B Lightning II, which was raised from the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, appeared on the web. In November, the plane crashed from the deck of the aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth. The ChDambiev channel in Telegram drew attention to the picture.
The photo shows the fighter, which is on the deck of the ship in an inverted state. The chassis has been released on the F-35B and the compartments for weapons have been opened. Before lifting, the plane was examined by divers.
Earlier, the cause of the F-35B accident became known. When the plane took off, a gust of wind tore off a plastic raincoat from one of the sailors on deck. The raincoat blocked the air intake of the aircraft. Because of this, the plane lost speed and fell overboard.
In December, the United Kingdom, Italy and the United States lifted the fallen plane from the bottom of the sea. It took three weeks to find the fragments of the fallen car and extract them.
