TSAMTO, January 20. Rostec State Corporation delivered eight types of various weapons and military equipment to the Russian armed forces by the Single Day of Military Acceptance.
Infantry fighting vehicles BMP-3, upgraded T-72B3 tanks, various means of electronic suppression, Mi-28NM "Night Hunter" and Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopters, as well as multifunctional Su-30SM2 fighters were sent to the troops.
The Rostec United Aircraft Corporation has started supplying upgraded Su-30SM2 fighters for naval aviation. The aircraft received increased combat capabilities and retained the main advantages of the Su-30SM: super maneuverability, long flight range, onboard radar with a phased array antenna, a crew of two people providing simultaneous air combat and the defeat of ground targets.
The High-Precision Complexes Holding has delivered infantry fighting vehicles BMP-3, which have one of the most powerful weapons complexes in the world among analogues and have great potential for further modernization.
"Rostec participates in the Single Day of Military Acceptance as one of the largest suppliers of weapons for the Russian army. To date, Mi-28NM and Ka-52 helicopters, upgraded T-72B3 tanks and effective electronic warfare equipment have been transferred. In total, eight different types of military equipment were sent to the troops," said Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy Director General of Rostec State Corporation.
The Night Hunters and Alligators transferred by the Russian Helicopters Holding are designed to search for and destroy tanks, armored and unarmored vehicles, have powerful weapons and are capable of operating in difficult weather conditions and at any time of the day.
The T-72B3 tanks delivered by Uralvagonzavod to the troops, which underwent major repairs with modernization, received all-round protection from anti-tank weapons. Their mobility, firepower, security and command control were also increased.
