Moscow. January 19. INTERFAX - Servicemen of the Baltic Fleet Army Corps are conducting live firing exercises from T-72B3 tank guns at a training ground in the Kaliningrad region, the press service of the Baltic Fleet reported.
"The servicemen of the tank division of the motorized rifle unit of the army corps of the Baltic Fleet at one of the ranges in the Kaliningrad region perform routine firing with a standard projectile from 125-mm guns of T-72B3 tanks," the press service said.
"More than 200 people and about 30 pieces of weapons and military equipment are involved in the combat training event," the fleet headquarters said.
They noted that during the exercise, tankers fire guns on the move at emerging and moving targets, as well as practice firing tasks from an anti-aircraft machine gun NSVT at ground and low-flying air targets.
