INTERFAX-SOUTH - It is planned to supply about three thousand samples of weapons and equipment to the troops of the Southern Military District in 2022, Alexander Dvornikov, commander of the district's troops, said in an interview with the Military Bulletin of the South of Russia newspaper.
"This year it is planned to deliver about three thousand samples, including 1,180 modern ones. These are 27 aircraft, 37 helicopters, five warships and boats, anti-aircraft missile systems, ground-based radio equipment, armored vehicles and RAV, special equipment of various kinds, troops and services," Dvornikov said.
He noted that taking into account by the end of the year, the share of the district's provision with modern weapons and military equipment will reach 72%.
