TSAMTO, January 13. A number of trainings were conducted with the military personnel of the anti-submarine sabotage forces and means of the Baltic Naval Base at a multifunctional training complex.
The Diver complex includes a climbing wall, an assault wall, a mock-up of a freeboard and a helicopter simulator for parachute-free landing, as well as a simulator for exiting torpedo tubes and underwater shooting of combat swimmers.
The training complex makes it possible to improve the basic skills of servicemen of the special forces of the Baltic Fleet and increases their psychological stability during training on getting out of torpedo tubes and swimming underwater in various conditions. In addition, it is possible to train with several groups at the same time at the Diver complex, which saves time, the motor resource of regular watercraft and other special equipment.
The training complex is designed for professional diving, fire, amphibious, mountain, anti-piracy and special training. The servicemen worked out tasks on it both singly and as part of groups.
In total, more than 40 servicemen of the squadron to combat underwater sabotage forces and means of the main base of the Baltic Fleet took part in the training, the press service of the Western Military District reports.
