19FortyFive: Ukraine could use five types of weapons in the war against Russia
The American publication 19FortyFive named the main weapon of Ukraine against Russia. The list includes five types of weapons that, according to the publication, Kiev could use in a possible war against Moscow.
The first tank in it is the T-64BV. According to the publication, there are currently about 210 such combat vehicles in Ukraine. The publication assures that the T-64BV is distinguished by improved night sights, satellite navigation and enhanced dynamic protection.
Next on the list is the American FGM-148 Javelin portable anti-tank missile system (ATGM), which Ukraine received from the United States. The publication reminds that this ATGM works on the principle of "shot and forgot".
The third weapon is the Ukrainian multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) "Olkha-M", a volley from which, according to the publication, "would be especially deadly."
The fourth is the Ukrainian anti-tank missile system "Stugna-P", which is "much cheaper than Javelin".
The Ukrainian Bogdana six-wheeled howitzer completes the list, which "can produce from four to eight shots per minute and has a firing range of 40 kilometers."
"Sometimes defensive operations can cause more damage than offensive maneuvers. Ukrainians could use combined arms tactics of attrition - to destroy as many armored vehicles and auxiliary personnel of the enemy as possible," they write in 19FortyFive.
