Vladivostok. January 10th. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - A new tank unit has been formed in the marine corps unit of the coastal forces of the Pacific Fleet (TOF), stationed in Primorsky Krai, the press service of the Eastern Military District reported on Monday.
"The strike unit has received more than 30 modern modernized T-80BV tanks, which will significantly strengthen the striking capabilities of the Primorsky Marine Corps of the Pacific Fleet," the report says.
The technique has already been adopted by driver mechanics. The formed tank battalion as part of the Marine Corps unit will begin to coordinate and engage in combat training during the winter training period.
