Several RTC "Uran-6" will enter service with the engineering and sapper regiment of the ZVO tank army in 2022

TSAMTO, January 10. In 2022, several robotic complexes of mine clearance "Uran-6" will be put into service by the engineering and sapper corps of the Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District, stationed in the Yaroslavl region.

The complex is controlled by the operator using a remote control from a distance of up to 1 km, which ensures safe removal when mines and shells explode.

Despite its small dimensions and weight of 6-7 tons, the machine is able to withstand blasting up to 60 kg of TNT. In addition, the equipment of the complex allows the detection of dangerous objects, and then determine their type. Thus, depending on the type of ammunition detected, the operator of the complex can choose the most effective and safe method of neutralization. The complex will significantly increase the safety of sappers when working with explosive objects, the press service of the Western Military District said on January 1.
