Naval aviation and air defense forces of the Black Sea Fleet repelled attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles during exercises in the Crimea. This was reported in the press service of the Black Sea Fleet.
Taking into account the areas of responsibility, the crews of naval aviation and air defense, as well as the divisions of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems and the calculations of the Pantsir-S missile and cannon complexes checked the readiness of the air defense forces on duty on the peninsula. The military has worked out the detection and tracking of aircraft, including at ultra-low altitudes.
Anti-aircraft missile and radio engineering units of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Southern Military District were involved in the exercises. In addition, Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft, Su-27 and Su-30SM multi-purpose fighters were involved in the event.
