"All these are dangerous signals that cannot be ignored. And how can you react to them? It is precisely by preventive measures, strengthening their defense. Russian coastal forces abroad are considered very dangerous for ships because they are equipped with the latest technologies, including those that other countries do not have," Vetrenko said.
Earlier it was reported that Russia will strengthen its military presence in the Kuril Islands. In addition to the Bastion complexes, the country will deploy air defense and electronic warfare systems on Matua Island.
