MOSCOW, January 5. /tass/. The latest RHM-9 radiation, chemical and biological reconnaissance vehicles based on the Typhoon-K car will be put into service with the RCBZ troops in 2022. This was reported to journalists on Wednesday in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"The first samples of RCB reconnaissance vehicles RHM-9 will be delivered to the mobile RCBZ unit stationed in the Saratov region," the military department clarified.
A new instrument complex has been developed for the machine, which allows increasing the speed and range of reconnaissance by 1.5-2 times. In addition, the aircraft drone from the RHM-9 machine allows conducting radiation reconnaissance of the terrain at altitudes up to 300 m in automatic, semi-automatic and manual control mode. If necessary, it can be used to solve other tasks.
