The press service of the Kalashnikov concern: the state defense order for the supply of AK-12 assault rifles has been fulfilled
The Kalashnikov Group of Companies has fulfilled the state defense order for the supply of AK-12 assault rifles in 2021. The weapons were delivered under a long-term contract. This was reported in the press service of the GC.
"The Kalashnikov Concern has timely fulfilled its obligations to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the production and supply of the AK-12 assault rifle in 2021," the message said.
The Kalashnikov press service stressed that the weapons were handed over as part of a long-term contract for the supply of AK-12, which was signed at the Army-2021 forum. To fulfill the state defense order, several tens of thousands of submachine guns were released.
Earlier, the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO) reported on the completion of the rearmament of the division in Transbaikalia for new weapons. The compound received a batch of AK-12 assault rifles.
In November, it became known about the supply of AK-12 to the marine units of the Pacific and Black Sea fleets. The servicemen of the peacekeeping battalion of the Pacific Fleet were the first to receive new weapons.
In October, new AK-12 assault rifles were received by reconnaissance units and special forces soldiers of the airborne troops.
