TSAMTO, December 27. The first launches of the main engines and diesel generators took place on the "Sharp" corvette, which is being tested at the delivery base of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant (part of the USC) in Vladivostok.
As a result of many days of preparation and practical consultations with representatives of counterparty organizations, the launches took place in normal mode and without failures.
"A huge preparatory work was done, in which employees of the assembly and delivery production, the testing department, the electrical and pipe-fitting production, the construction department of the ASZ were involved. The launch of the mechanisms was provided by representatives of counterparty organizations: Kolomna Diesel Plant, Zvezda Machine-building Plant. All the mechanisms are in good working order and ready to accept the load," said the responsible deliverer of the ship, Razhden Baratashvili.
The launch of diesel engines and diesel generators on order is another important stage in construction and an indicator that all systems that have provided successful launches are in service and ready to perform subsequent tasks within the framework of the test program. Specialists of the delivery team and counterparty organizations noted that the automation and control systems of the ship are also installed and work reliably.
The work on fuel intake and engine start-up took place within one working shift, which is an indicator of the high professionalism and responsibility of the Amur shipbuilders.
