It is noted that a special exercise was held at the Pogonovo training ground in the Voronezh region. New forms and methods of conducting modern combat were shown to the commanders of units, military units and formations of the Guards Red Banner Combined Arms Army of the ZVO.
"The interspecific tactical grouping of troops has worked out joint actions of motorized rifle, tank, artillery, reconnaissance units in cooperation with electronic warfare, unmanned aircraft, helicopters of army aviation and RCB protection troops," the report says.
It is noted that special attention was paid to the conduct of local combat operations to develop a unified approach to the introduction of advanced forms of training and training of the army. In addition, according to the report, special attention was paid to the demonstration of tactical actions of ground forces equipped with new models of weapons and military equipment. Also, an important place was taken by the demonstration of the use of electronic warfare and RCBZ in the system of combating high-precision weapons and enemy UAVs. In addition, the military has worked out new methods of countering subversive forces and means and organizing psychological work during the preparation for combat.
"During the practical actions of the troops of the Lesochek electronic warfare equipment, they suppressed the signals of the control of the technical means of reconnaissance of the enemy, after which the ground group of troops under the cover of artillery units and army aviation fired a preemptive strike on key enemy targets and destroyed combat reconnaissance drones of the aircraft type," the message adds.
It is specified that more than a thousand military personnel of the formations and military units of the combined arms and aviation army of the Eastern Federal District participated in the exercise, as well as over 80 weapons and military equipment, including T-72B3 tanks, armored personnel carriers BTR-82AM, self-propelled mortars "Nona-SVK", towed howitzers "Msta-B", multiple rocket launchers "Tornado-G", unmanned aerial vehicles "Orlan-10" and Mi-24P helicopters.
