TSAMTO, December 24. According to the plan for the supply of the main samples of ViVT in 2021, two Su-25 attack aircraft entered service at the united Russian military base Kant, stationed in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
A pair of attack aircraft entered service at the Russian military base to replace existing aircraft. The new Su-25 underwent a comprehensive upgrade, technical components and assemblies were replaced on the aircraft, avionics and navigation equipment were updated.
The Su-25 attack aircraft is designed to destroy small-sized mobile and stationary ground objects in visual visibility conditions day and night, as well as low-speed air targets at the forefront in tactical and immediate operational depth, the press service of the Central Military District reports.

The joint Russian military Base "Kant" is part of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces and participates in ensuring the security of the airspace of the CSTO states. There are Su-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters in service.
