(DDG-118) "Daniel Inue" is the 69th Arleigh Burke-class destroyer adopted by the US Navy. The ship's keel laying ceremony took place on May 14, 2018, the christening ceremony on June 22, 2019, and on March 8, 2021, the destroyer was transferred to the US Navy Command after completing a series of mooring and sea trials.
