A detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) returned to the home base after the closure of the missile firing area with the newest anti-submarine complex "Response" for a training underwater target in the waters of the Sea of Japan. This was reported to "RG" by the head of the information support department of the press service of the Eastern Military District for the Pacific Fleet, Captain 3rd rank Ilya Kolesnikov.
The task was performed by the crew of the large anti-submarine ship Marshal Shaposhnikov. The warhead of the missile successfully hit the "enemy".
In total, more than ten ships and support vessels of the Pacific Fleet took part in the shooting, including the large anti-submarine ship Admiral Tributs, the corvette Loud and the Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov.

The ship's anti-submarine missile system "Response" is designed to defeat submarines. Universal launchers are used to launch anti-submarine missiles, which also allow the use of Onyx and Kalibr cruise missiles.
