Moscow. December 12. INTERFAX - The crew of the small anti-submarine ship "Junga" of the Kola Flotilla of the heterogeneous forces of the Northern Fleet (SF) practiced artillery firing in the coastal ranges of the Barents Sea, the press service of the fleet reported on Sunday.
"As part of working out the planned tasks of the surface ship combat training course, the combat crews of the 76-mm AK-176 artillery installation performed firing at coastal, sea and air targets," the report says.
First, the gunners of the MPK "Junga" hit targets installed on the coast of the Rybachy Peninsula in the Murmansk region, and then fired at simulated air and sea targets.
The section of the water area where combat exercises were performed was temporarily closed to civilian shipping and aviation flights.
Upon completion of the training and combat tasks at sea, the MPC "Junga" arrived at the permanent base - the city of military glory Polar, the press service of the SF reported.
A few days earlier, the small anti-submarine ship Snezhnogorsk, as well as the MPC Junga, which is part of the Kola Flotilla water protection unit of the heterogeneous forces of the Northern Fleet, worked out the artillery firing complex in the Barents Sea.
