"Tests of the ship's Zircon missile system are being successfully completed, within the framework of which the possibility of firing a hypersonic missile from both a surface ship and a nuclear submarine from an underwater position has been confirmed," Gerasimov said.
According to him, the capabilities of the Navy in the near and far sea zones "increased due to the supply of modern submarines and surface ships."
"In August of this year, the laying of six new ships for the Navy was carried out," Gerasimov said.
