TSAMTO, December 8. In the Black Sea, the crew of the newest patrol ship (PC) of the Black Sea Fleet "Sergey Kotov" performed the first artillery firing.
The firing involved an AK-176 artillery installation, large-caliber naval machine guns and DP-65 anti-sabotage grenade launchers.
Earlier, during the tests, the ship's crew, together with the factory delivery team, mastered the features of operation and maintenance of on-board systems, devices and mechanisms.
The factory tests of the Sergey Kotov PC are held in the Black Sea, as well as in the harbor of the Novorossiysk naval base of the Black Sea Fleet.

The ships of project 22160 were designed by JSC "Northern Design Bureau" (St. Petersburg). For the first time in Russia, a modular concept of naval armament has been implemented on this type of ships. The ships are designed to protect and protect the maritime economic zone.
