Shooting practice has begun on the Kuril Islands.
This is reported by the press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO).
"The servicemen of the motorized rifle unit of the army corps of the Air Force in the Kuril Islands, as part of the week of intensive training that has started, have begun working out standards for the main subjects of combat training," the press release says. It is specified that in the field, military personnel improve their shooting skills from small arms and combat vehicles.
The units use a new generation of communications equipment, and the Orlan-10 and Eleoron-3 drones are used to detect targets.
At the final stage of the exercises, the military will perform test control firing from small arms and regular weapons of combat vehicles.
