The project 20385 "Rattling" corvette, which entered the Pacific Fleet, became the first ship in the Navy, where there are additional orthopedic chairs on the command bridge.
This is reported by the "Red Star" with reference to the commander of the ship, captain of the second rank Oleg Potapov.
Previously, the sailors followed the course, keeping watch in a standing position. Now it can be done more comfortably. In addition, if earlier the bridge with the control panel was a whole structure, now it is divided into three parts by passages, which makes it possible to make a roundabout faster and reach the porthole when mooring.
The "Gremyashchy", which entered the TOPF– is a fundamentally new watchdog, which launched the start of serial production of corvettes – one more in St. Petersburg and four at the Amur Shipyard. It belongs to project 20385, developed by the central design bureau Almaz, built at the plant of PJSC Severnaya Verf.
The newest ship is positioned among specialists as a development of the line of the previous project of corvettes 20380, such as "Perfect", "Loud", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" and "Sharp". Moreover, it surpasses all in shock and radio equipment.
First of all, we are talking about eight Kalibr-NK long-range cruise missiles placed in the bow of the corvette. Protection from enemy aircraft is provided by Redoubt missiles.
