The Aerospace Forces of Russia have received the first batch of automated training systems (AOS) for the training of Mi-8AMTSh helicopter crews. The kit was supplied by Technodinamika Holding to Rostec State Corporation. This is reported by TASS with a link to the holding's message.
The AOS is designed for theoretical training of the flight crew of the Mi-8AMTSh helicopter. The kit includes an instructor's seat, a set of workstations, a server, a projector and additional equipment. The system allows you to conduct individual and group classes.
Igor Nasenkov, CEO of Technodinamika Holding, noted that the military units were also equipped with training systems for the Ka-52 and Mi-28N crews.
Earlier, Defense IQ analysts named the most popular helicopters in the world. Mi-8 and Mi-17 family vehicles occupy 14 percent of the global helicopter fleet. This made it possible to take the second line of the rating, and the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk multipurpose helicopter topped the list.
In September, a TASS source in the military-industrial complex announced work on a new version of the Mi-8AMTSh. He noted that the helicopter will receive an electronic warfare system, which will allow the machine to disrupt enemy communications.
