As follows from the same source, at the base of the corvette "Gremyashchy", the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Volkhov DPLS will carry out replenishment of material reserves and scheduled maintenance after the completion of the inter-fleet transition.

It should be noted that for the first time the Pacific Fleet receives diesel-electric submarines capable of carrying high-precision Kalibr-PL cruise missiles. And the weapons of the corvette "Gremyashchy" - missiles of the same class "Caliber-NK".

The Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky submarine was officially accepted into the Pacific Fleet in November 2019, the Volkhov in October 2020. Both were built in St. Petersburg at the Admiralty shipyards according to the project of the Central Design Bureau "Rubin". The Gremyashchy corvette was built at the Northern Shipyard under the project of the Almaz ICD. The St. Andrew's flag was raised on it in December 2020.
