Rostov-on-Don. December 1st. INTERFAX - More than 3 thousand combat training events will be worked out in the troops of the Southern Military District in 2022, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
"The main event of combat and operational training of the Southern Military District troops in the new year will be a bilateral command and staff exercise with groups of troops (forces) in the South-Western strategic direction," the message says.
It is noted that in total, in the 2022 academic year, more than 3 thousand combat training events are planned to be held in the troops of the Southern Military District, where the issues of creating and using groups in operational areas will be worked out.
The main requirement for the combat training of the military district troops in the new academic year will be the introduction of new forms and methods of actions of units during tactical exercises and classes.
"It is important to analyze the strategy and tactics of actions in the "hot spots" of both the armies of foreign states and various armed formations, to generalize the experience of combat operations and introduce it into the training of the troops of our district," the words of the commander of the troops of the Southern Military District, Army General Alexander Dvornikov, are quoted in the message.
As part of the combat training of the Southern Military District troops, the practice of actions in desert and mountainous terrain, fighting in populated areas, using air strikes and precision weapons of the Air Force and Air Defense Army, missile formations, the Black Sea Fleet and the Caspian Flotilla will be laid.
The 415th training center of the Southern Military District began its activity at the Molkino combined arms training ground in the Krasnodar Territory. On the basis of the center, it is planned to train more than 1.2 thousand junior specialists annually, including mechanics-drivers of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, as well as drivers of category "C", "D" and "E".
