According to him, "within the framework of the state defense order in 2022, the purchase of more than 200 units is planned. the main samples of weapons, military and special equipment of the Aerospace Forces, which will allow us to reach the level of modernity in 89%."
A.Yudin stressed that "the planned measures will ensure the guaranteed fulfillment of all tasks assigned to the Aerospace Forces."
Assessing the preliminary results of the current year, A.Yudin said that "defense industry enterprises in general will supply over 250 units of new equipment to the troops by 2021, of which more than 150 units. aviation equipment, about 60 samples of weapons, military and special air defense equipment and over 40 samples of space troops equipment. Among them are the latest multi-purpose Su-57 and Su-35S fighters, Mi-28NM, Ka-52 combat helicopters, DA-42T initial flight training aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles of various classes, S-350, S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon complexes, promising Angara launch vehicles, Perseus upper stages and military spacecraft."
In addition, according to him, "in general, repairs with the modernization of more than 200 samples of weapons, military and special equipment of the Aerospace Forces will be completed this year."
A.Yudin stressed that "currently there is an active phase of the supply of weapons to the troops, and taking into account the fulfillment by industry organizations of their obligations by the end of this year, the share of modern samples of the VVST will be 87%, and serviceability will reach 83%."
"Also, during the rearmament of modern models of equipment, military units of the Aerospace Forces received more than 420 sets of communication equipment, radio equipment and automated control systems," A.Yudin said in an interview with the newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda.
