The pilots of the fighter aviation regiment of the Leningrad Association of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Western Military District showed a highly maneuverable air battle. They took off from an airfield stationed in Karelia.
According to the press service of the Western Military District, the crews of supersonic Su-35 fighters in the air worked out the interception and defeat of manned and unmanned vehicles, and also evaded the attack of conventional enemy fighters. You can watch the course of the battle on video.
During the training battle, the pilots interacted with anti-aircraft missile and radio engineering units. The flights took place at high, low and extremely low altitudes.
