TSAMTO, November 8. The dynamics of the supply of new samples of communication equipment to the RVSN made it possible to completely switch to modern digital information transmission technologies.
In the last four years, the Strategic Missile Forces have received new digital information transmission systems for the missile divisions' positional areas, the fleet of satellite communication stations, HF and VHF radio stations is being updated, new complexes of technical support and repair of communications equipment are being received.
The RVSN are equipped with digital telecommunication equipment, such as digital radio relay stations, automatic telephone exchanges of classified and open telephone communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of state contracts, digital telecommunication equipment was provided to the control points of the Strategic Missile Forces up to and including the missile division. The Missile Forces have re-equipped the RVSN Communications Center, the RVSN arsenals, training centers, the Peter the Great Military Academy of the RVSN and its branch in Serpukhov.
The implementation of the planned measures made it possible to achieve a significant increase in the effectiveness of the use of the Strategic Missile Forces in terms of reducing the management cycle time and improving the quality of decisions taken by officials to manage subordinate units and associations, taking into account the implementation of information security measures, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
