TSAMTO, November 8. The crew of the Askold small rocket ship, which is being built in Kerch at the B.E.Butoma shipyard, will undergo comprehensive training at the Joint Training Center of the Navy.
Earlier, on September 21, in Kerch at the B.E. Butoma shipyard, under the leadership of the Commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, a solemn ceremony of launching the new Askold MRC project 22800 was held.
The Askold small rocket ship will be the second ship of the 22800 project built at the Kerch enterprise. The first, Cyclone, was launched at the end of last summer, and is currently undergoing a complex of tests in Novorossiysk, the third, Amur, is under construction on the factory slipway, hull work has been completed on the order, equipment is being installed, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
