TSAMTO, November 1. The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, congratulated the sailors on the Day of the Seaman and the Day of the foundation of the Russian Regular Fleet. These two dates are celebrated on October 30.
According to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Admiral Nikolay Evmenov's congratulatory telegram was sent to the commands of the Northern, Pacific, Black Sea, Baltic Fleets and the Caspian Flotilla, as well as to the crews of more than 80 ships and vessels currently performing tasks of naval presence in various areas of the World Ocean.
In the text of the congratulatory telegram of the Commander-in-chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, in particular, it says that "... today, Russian navy sailors are vigilantly on watch to protect the maritime borders of the Motherland and, as before, are ready for any storm warnings. At the moment, the task of the naval presence is carried out by more than 80 ships, vessels of the Russian Navy, whose crews perform their military duty with honor and high professionalism, guaranteeing the prevention of threats on sea and ocean routes.
The modern Russian Navy is nuclear-missile and ocean-going. It is capable of solving problems of any complexity at a high level of efficiency in all latitudes of the World Ocean.
The Russian Navy is being actively updated. The Navy receives the latest ships and submarines equipped with weapons that have no analogues in the world. In 2021, the Russian Navy will receive more than 40 surface ships, submarines, support vessels and multifunctional boats. The military shipbuilding program for a number of positions is being carried out ahead of schedule, which indicates a huge attention to the Navy.
