VLADIVOSTOK, October 29. /tass/. The Pacific Fleet corvette "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov" destroyed air and surface targets with artillery fire during exercises in Peter the Great Bay (Sea of Japan).

"As part of the exercises, the ship's combat crews discovered a surface ship of a conditional enemy, whose role was performed by a target sea shield, and destroyed it using an A-190 artillery installation," Captain 3rd rank Andranik Shishmonyan, commander of the Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsidenzhapov corvette, told reporters.

In addition, when forcing an area with a mine hazard, the corvette's artillery crews destroyed mock-ups of floating mines with the fire of the AK-630 artillery complex, and also repelled an attack by means of an air attack of a conditional enemy with radio-electronic interference.

Also, the crew of the corvette worked out an algorithm of actions for the use of the anti-ship complex "Uranus" on a sea target with electronic launches without actually launching missiles.

As part of the exercises, the crew of the Ka-27 helicopter of the Pacific Fleet Marine Aviation practiced taking off and landing on the deck of a warship on the move.
