The German newspaper Bild published an article about the "alarming" training of Russian pilots on the suspension of training bombs on military transport aircraft Il-76.
The material of the publication contains a message from the Ministry of Defense of Russia about the training of crews of the military transport aviation regiment in the Pskov region to carry out practical bombing and live firing.
As the headline says, the Russian military is installing bombs on transport planes, in connection with which the question is asked about the possible "planning of an unexpected attack." Photos from the training camp inspired "concern".
The author of the article wonders why the Russian military is installing "deadly bombs on planes that are completely unsuitable for bombing enemy targets."
For a comment, the publication turned to the "independent military blogger" from Finland, Petri Myakel, who said that such events have been held for some time. At the same time, he expressed an "alarming explanation" for such fees.
"It makes sense if you are preparing a surprise attack or a "surprise landing" on an enemy who does not know what awaits him," the blogger claims. This theory, as the author of the article states, "worries" not only Finns, since some landfills in the Pskov region "are less than 50 kilometers from the border with the EU and NATO," RIA Novosti reports.
