Weapons for the destruction of ports have been tested in China. The Chinese military destroyed a training target with an underwater explosion. This is reported by the Global Times.
According to the publication, the purpose of the tests was to work out a new tactic to disrupt enemy communications. Also, underwater explosions can make large ships of a likely enemy vulnerable.
The publication notes that the new tactic was a response to the actions of the United States in the Pacific Ocean. So, American ships are dispersed at several bases, which causes their dependence on supplies.
"If we can use hidden methods, such as underwater explosions, to destroy ports, we will be able to destroy the enemy's military potential," said the deputy director of the new weapons testing program, Captain Zhao Pengduo.
Earlier, China showed the world's first fifth-generation fighter with a two-seat cabin. The magazine The Military Watch published pictures of a two-seat J-20 aircraft. The new aircraft can become the basis for the creation of strike versions of the fighter.
In September, AVIC Corporation showed the appearance of the sixth generation aircraft. At the international aerospace salon in Zhuhai, the appearance of a promising fighter was shown.
