The Cadet-75 parachute system confirmed the minimum landing height of 150 meters. Flight design tests were successful, the press service of Rostec State Corporation reports.
The system was developed in the holding company "Teplodynamika". It is designed for step-by-step training in free fall skills with a transition to manual parachute deployment. "Cadet-75" can operate at an aircraft speed from 80 to 280 kilometers per hour from altitudes of up to four thousand meters with a total flight weight of up to 120 kilograms.
The system has a dome of increased stability, which makes it possible to perform a full turn in no more than 12 seconds. The average value of the vertical rate of descent in a section of 30-35 meters from the ground is no more than five meters per second.
As the general director of Technodinamika Igor Nasenkov added, the Cadet-75 confirmed the minimum safe altitude of 150 meters at the speed of the aircraft 180 kilometers per hour. The reduction time was at least 10 seconds.
