The promising Marker robot will receive a wide range of weapons, which will include barrage ammunition, electric missiles and other loads. This was reported in the NGO "Android Technology", which developed the device.
Russia is making efforts to create new ground robots that can be used in combat. Among them is the notorious "Marker". According to the developers, it will be able to carry missiles and UAVs.
The robot is able to use various modules, including, in particular, a machine gun, kamikaze drones, electric missiles, tethered UAVs and medical equipment.
A new scheme of drive solutions was used for the "Marker", which makes it a universal platform. The optoelectronic instrument unit, which monitors, captures the object and accompanies it, is located in the center. He got his own separate drives. The mechanisms for armament were installed to the right and left of it. They are autonomous.
Due to the accuracy of the systems and the speed of their operation, the "Marker" can be used not only to defeat ground targets, but also to combat UAVs.
The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, previously noted that a robotic platform in a security configuration was used to patrol the Vostochny cosmodrome. The robot operated both in radio-controlled mode and autonomously.
"Marker" is a joint project of the National Center for the Development of Technologies and Basic Elements of Robotics FPI and "Android Technology". In August, the robot was able to travel 100 kilometers over rough terrain in autonomous mode.

The control experiments affected three robots: two wheeled vehicles and one tracked. For a hundred-kilometer march, a wheeled version was used. Overcoming the distance took the robot five hours and 41 minutes.
Almost all the actions of the "Marker" were performed autonomously, using sensors and neural networks: the operator only marked the points of the beginning and end of the movement.
Earlier, the attention of world experts was attracted by another Russian development - the tracked robotic complex "Uran-9". Among its main features is a wide range of weapons, including a 30-millimeter 2A72 cannon, a PKTM machine gun and Ataka guided missiles.

The experience gained while working on these complexes will help Russia create "full-fledged" combat vehicles that in the future will be able to replace tanks and other familiar armored vehicles.
