As reported by spotters at "Aviastar-SP" (part of JSC "United aircraft Corporation" - KLA) in Ulyanovsk finally completed the renovation of the previously built this enterprise long-haul passenger aircraft modification of the Tu-204-300 (serial number 1450741564039, serial number, 039, registration number RA-64039) to the Board for transportation leadership of the National guard of the Russian Federation (of Regardie). It will become the second aircraft of this type in the aviation of the National Guard troops. Last week, the RA-64039 aircraft, still unpainted, was pumped out to the plant's flight test station after repairs and re-equipment were completed, but so far, apparently, it has not yet taken off.

This RA-64039 aircraft was built at Aviastar-SP in 2005 and, together with three other aircraft of this modification, was part of the Vladivostok-Avia airline fleet. In reality, the operation of these aircraft in the airline did not last long and was discontinued already in 2010. The RA-64039 made its last passenger flight in July 2010, after which it was stored in Vladivostok, and in June 2014 it was transported to Ulyanovsk for storage at Aviastar-SP. According to known data, work on its re-equipment into a board for the Rosgvardiya was started in 2020.
Earlier in 2020, the aviation of the National Guard troops received the same type of Tu-204-300 aircraft (factory number 1450743364026, serial number 026, registration number RA-64026) - the former first board of the Tu-204-300 modification, built by Aviastar-SP in 2000 and became the first aircraft of this modification in the airline Vladivostok-Avia. The aircraft was re-equipped with a modification to the "Salon" variant (with a capacity of 55 seats) according to the contract signed in August 2017 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with the UAC in the amount of 1.7 billion rubles (including VAT) for the purchase of one Tu-204-300 with conversion for Rosgvardiya. Although according to the contract, the aircraft was supposed to be delivered by December 1, 2018, however, the RA-64026 actually made its first flight after completion of the conversion at Aviastar-SP in Ulyanovsk only in February 2020 and was transferred to Rosgvardiya in June 2020.
