- Launches of Kalibr-PL and Onyx cruise missiles from surface and underwater positions are planned for mid-November. One of them will be a salvo," a source in the shipbuilding industry told TASS. The Agency has no official confirmation of this information.
In June, the Novosibirsk submarine went to sea for factory sea trials. The head of Sevmash, Mikhail Budnichenko, said that state tests will begin after them in order to transfer the ship to the fleet by the end of 2021. The Novosibirsk submarine is the first production submarine of the improved Yasen-M project. Its main weapons are Kalibr, Onyx cruise missiles, and in the near future, Zircon.
