The Verkhneturinsk Machine-building Plant of the Technodinamika holding has produced the first samples of test parts of shell casings for field and tank artillery. The production of trial products is carried out at the site of a new mechanical workshop, where commissioning works are carried out. The cost of the production site was 400 million rubles.
The new workshop, designed to fulfill the state defense order, is equipped with modern CNC equipment for high-performance and turning. Modern machines worth more than 100 million rubles were purchased for the main production line.
High-quality equipment will minimize the number of operations performed manually, increase the level of industrial safety and labor productivity. The automated control system will monitor and synchronize all production processes of the new plant complex. VTMZ specialists have undergone professional retraining to work on the new equipment. After the workshop reaches its design capacity, its production volumes will be able to grow by 2.5 times.
The construction of the new workshop began in 2016 as part of the investment project "Reconstruction of the mechanical workshop for the production of special products", aimed at creating new production facilities. The total area of the building was 3200 sq. m.
